Syren De Mer didn't start performing until she was 37, older than most performers are when they walk away for good, yet she signed with an agent in 2006 and has since shot more than 680 scenes and moved behind the camera to direct her own. That late start is the whole story. It shaped the rest.

She was born on 24 June 1969 in Bellingham, Washington, and she studied photography at the Art Institute of Seattle before any of this began. She's 5 ft 6 in. Black hair, green eyes.

What Syren De Mer is known for

The late start explains everything else. Most performers her age retired years ago, while she built a signature across milf and cougar work and then took the rarer step of directing and producing, all three roles Wikidata lists against her name. She kept going. That's the difference.

AVN and XBIZ nominations followed. She now splits her time between Seattle and Los Angeles.
